Celebration CardsThe Year 5 boys worked on a project whereby they used abstract shapes and colours in Windows Paint to create an abstract design that had a positive happy look and feel to it. These images were then worked on and developed using Corel Painter 9 and Wacom drawing tablets. The goal was to produce celebration cards that could be used in any faith or context.
Yr6 Commercial Photography June 06The boys were making web pages for an IT components company and they were asked to make ordinary rather boring IT equipment appear attractive and interesting by using studio photography techniques. They used lights with coloured gels and long exposure times to achieve these results.
Photo Editing Using Surrealism as a GenreThe boys from 7J were learning how to use photo editing software with the key concept that Surrealist imagery works particularly well with this technology. They spent some time exploring surrealist pictures in order to prepare for this project.

St Johns in the RainThe boys from 7G were set the challenge of using photographs of the school site on a wet day in order to create a surrealist photomontage image that would say more about the school site than a conventional photograph.
